Phuket - Days 1-5

it's about time I went for my much needed break.... Working non-stop at full gear for 3 plus months was no joke. I think even till to-date I am still suffering from high stress. I never could enjoy the luxury of sleeping like a pig any more. In Phuket, I slept only about 4-5 hours daily... tho I spent a lot of time lying on the beach.

5 days in Phuket, beachin bumming was really relaxing. We absolutely did nothing except to sleep, eat, shop, tan, watch Star Movies/ National Geographic every night and play cho tai di the whole night away.


That's the view of Karon Beach and Indian Ocean from our hotel. As it was the low peak season, we were given room on the highest level - which is level 4 and the first room facing the beach.

It would be really nice to sit on the balcony but we had to slap our legs and arms with mozzies repellent otherwise... we would have ended up with beautifully scared legs and arms.

DAY 1
That's me sitting at brazilian restaurant on the first night having pizzas. erhmmm ... my camera phone is quite pathetic .. so have to live with such blur photos sigh!


DAY 2
Dinner at Patong Beach... According to Cheryl's friend there was this really nice Italian restaurant. We walked for many streets near Patong Beach and never found that restaurant. In the end we went to Napoli restaurant that serves really yummy pasta out of so many restaurants.... we were tired from the long walking searching for that particular restaurant

caught a glimpse of the evening sun set view at the beach.. was a nice walk after dinner.

and what did we do at night in the room? ... hmmmm.... how boring can we get... drink wine, play tai di and watch star movies whole night away. Why our feets? ... well of course comparing feet size!!!! hahaha.. actually I dont recall why this photo was taken after all.



DAY 3 & 4
What did we do on day 3? I could barely recall... more sun tanning by the pool. The sun was scorching hot and we couldnt really tan for more than 30 minutes. Could feel the heat burning on the skin....

Well... we dont really have that many photos to show as we forgot to bring a camera...so these photos are taken off Tres' camera... 2 mega pixels. Not bad huh...

Another good meal we had before we left was dinnner was at Patong beach on day 4and this time we had Thai seafood. Hmmm... yummy and not that expensive too.

DAY 5
We just slept till late... had breakfast and then went back to the room to sleep more. caught the last flight out at 8 plus...

on the whole... was a nice relaxing holiday. Must have been the great company... lots of crazy things happened... hysterical moments too.

well well... I am looking forward to the next holiday... Hong Kong.. yippee. it will be great company for eating,shopping and partying too...
